A brief introduction to adjustable medical swing saws
As a medical instrument used in hospital surgical procedures, medical swing saws have the advantages of beautiful appearance, small size, light weight, easy portability, safe operation, and can shorten surgical time. The eccentric shaft connected to the motor on the swing saw is oscillated back and forth by a fork, and oscillates at high speed within a small range to cut the workpiece.
The saw teeth of traditional medical swing saws can only swing in a fixed plane, and doctors must adjust the posture of their arms to change the cutting plane, resulting in decreased surgical accuracy and inconvenient operation, which affects the doctor's surgery. There is a medical swing saw with a serrated swing plane adjustable to address the aforementioned drawbacks in existing technology.
The characteristic of this medical swing saw is that it includes a housing, a swing saw head, and an angle adjustment component connected between the housing and the swing saw head. The swing saw head includes a swing housing, and the angle adjustment component includes a locking sleeve, a top spring, and an interlocking indexing ring and indexing ring engagement sleeve. One end of the locking sleeve is connected to the housing, the other end is sleeved on the swing housing, and the indexing ring is connected to the swing housing.
One end of the indexing ring is equipped with multiple first teeth and first grooves spaced along the circumference. One end of the indexing ring meshing sleeve is provided with multiple second teeth and second grooves spaced along the circumference. The second teeth cooperate with the first teeth, and the second grooves cooperate with the second teeth. The number of first and second teeth is 8. The medical swing saw also includes a motor installed inside the housing, and the indexing ring engagement sleeve is connected to the motor. The medical swing saw also includes a motor installed inside the housing, and the indexing ring engagement sleeve is connected to the motor.
The locking sleeve is equipped with a convex part that matches the outer circumference of the swing shell. One end of the top spring is in contact with the convex part, and the other end is in contact with the indexing ring.
The swing shell includes a second shell part arranged coaxially with the indexing ring, and the indexing ring is sleeved on the second shell part and connected to the second shell part through a set screw.
The above is a brief introduction to adjustable medical swing saws. Thank you for reading.
